сокр YMHAПервоначальное название международной еврейской неполитической организации, ныне объединяющей свыше 200 местных отделений в Североамериканскую ассоциацию местных еврейских центров [ Jewish Community Centers Association of North America], хотя она и известна больше под первоначальным названием. Сходна по функциям с Ассоциацией молодых христиан [ Young Men's Christian Association]. Первая организация такого рода создана в 1854 в г. Балтиморе, шт. Мэриленд, но движение начало развиваться только после создания такого клуба в 1874 в Нью-Йорке.
